Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager / Manager - Purchase & Planning at ROSS CONTROLS located in Chennai. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to purchasing and planning activities to ensure efficient operations and supply chain management within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management
• Knowledge of inventory management and planning processes
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• End to end purchase management
• Ability to understand & interpret BOM/Drawings /Specifications of engineering materials and Equipments can be added advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP / MS Office, MS project management
• Exposure to Production planning is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Desired profile: MBA or PG Diploma in Material management or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed design of Control systems including panel layouts, loop drawings and wiring diagrams.
• PLC / Safety PLC programming.
• Preparation of functional / design specification document to direct detailed design

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
  • Electronics or Electrical preferred. Other disciplines considered with correct automation experience.
• Experience in Automation and Control Systems required.
• PLC / Safety PLC programming knowledge is mandatory.
• Knowledge in pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an asset.
• Working experience with AutoCAD.
• Exercise a high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation; you will frequently work under your own supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
